Calico Cochin Question

Hi, I'm been looking into the "calico" cochins, and was wondering if anybody has any information on them? I've heard of people crossing mottled cochins and millie fleur cochins with them to improve "type". Does anybody know how well these birds breed true, (saying around F3 generation, as a guess.) I plan on getting some mottled cochin bantams, and am looking into hatching eggs for the calico.

I hear that the calico color is mostly deprived from the millie fleur pattern. Is this true?
