Calico Princess? Pullet or Cockerel?

Calico princess should be barred and have some black in their tails and usually a few black feathers in hackle area.
Doesn't look like a calico princess but then again if it was from TSC then it came from Hoover's who don't seem to be breeding these new hybrids right. Their sapphire gems are a mess so wouldn't supprise me that the calicos would also be.

I got a calico on June 26 from rural king. Not sure if she is actually a Calico but she is beautiful, friendly and lives up to her name Princess Layer. I read that they originate from New Hampshire breed which she looks very much like. She started laying on Nov 1 and has gifted me with 9 beautiful medium light brown eggs. I have attached 3 pictures. At 6 weeks old (second from the right) today and 5 of her eggs. As you can see she was very light then after she molted, about 3 weeks ago, her color started to darken and her comb and wattles turned bright red. Shes become very opinionated and will get loud if I sleep in past 7! she is louder than my cockerel!

I got two of these from Hoover earlier in the fall, along with a bunch of other breeds.

Judging from mine and from pics I’ve seen, this cross is pretty inconsistent in adult markings. It’s a cross, after all, and Hoover cares a lot more about the autosexing trait and the egg-laying capacity than about the adult coloration.

So far I like mine. One of them is the boldest pullet in the flock, and the other is right up there. They don’t hesitate to come check out whatever I’m doing. The more heavily marked one looks essentially like a barred rock with red barring instead of black; the other one has very muted markings.

I know this thread is from November, but I’m curious if anyone has an updated photo of their Calico Princess. We purchased one from an Agway, which they received from Hoover Hatchery. She is currently 11 weeks old and a pure delight. The pictures of her on the swing was when she was seven weeks old. Unfortunately, my chihuahua nipped (gummed. Had teeth removed) her on the neck over food (totally my boyfriends fault), and now she runs from us, but not the dog.

This chick was purchased from TSC. It's 11 weeks old. Was sold as a Calico Princess (Purchased 1 Calico Princess and 1 Starlight Green Egger & they looked very similar early on. They're one day apart in age & look very different now at 11 Weeks old). This bird does not act like any cockerels I have/have had but the size and pinkening wattles and comb have me unsure. If it is a Calico Princess, they seem to be bred for high egg production, so is it possible that it's a pullet and that explains the wattles and comb? I'm only in my first year of keeping chickens, so even though I'm not seeing pointy cockerel feathers, it doesn't mean they're not there. What are your thoughts on this bird? I know that I have 3 other cockerels in this flock of 9 birds, as I've witnessed crows from 2 of them and 1 of the Silkies has obvious cockerel comb/wattles/feather/personality, but this bird hasn't exhibited any cockerel signs so far. Thank you so much for your time and input. I appreciate you all so much

Aww, I'm sorry...

I knew someone whose brother in law had a favorite little chicken, but someone's dog killed it and he was DEVASTED.
