Calico Silkie?

there is a calico silkie roo on eggbid, and they talk about how his crest is the right color? How can his crest be the right color if he is a calico?

All I see is how they say the crest is small and therefore a fault. They do say his comb colour is correct; however it looks a bit red to me.

There is no standard for calico, although those who have bred it tend to say we want evenly distributed patches of both dark blue and red. (Think of a splash, then make some of the splashes red, leaving some blue-black.)
