If you're looking for purebred show poultry, you'll have to find a breeder. Going to a poultry show is your best bet. There are several Cal shows coming up, one in Fresno (this weekend), another in Bakersfield (March 7), another in Ventura (April). The Fresno show has a fairly large selection of purebred birds for sale, you may consider stopping by. I have links and contact info to all those shows posted on my website (it's linking in my sig) if you're interested. Show quality chickens generally sell for $20 per bird.
