California Chickens?

I got my day old chicks at the feed store in Petaluma. They also have them at Scotts Valley feed near Santa Cruz, Halfmoon bay feed, and at the feed store in Vallejo. Not sure about the east bay.

I have seen a few people selling chickens on craigslist in the last week. Their were RIR and BR hens in Riverside. Black Copper Marans in Norco, Dominiques in the High Desert, and French Cuckoo Marans and others in Ventura. I always check craigslist once a week, you never know what you might find for sale in the farm/garden section.

I'm not sure if I should post here or start a new thread, but we are downsizing our flock. We live an hour north of Sacramento and I would be willing to drive halfway perhaps.

We have

Dark Brahmas Pullets
BLRW trio
Leghorn cross pullets
Polish pullets
light brahma pullets

and MANY roos especially black orps.

We have close to 80 chickens so if you want something other than what is listed just ask. They were ALL hatched in the spring by us and they are all healthy and laying. They have all been handled extensively and are very friendly. They will come to the call of treaties and will jump in your lap if you are sitting in the run relaxing. (Except the roos LOL)

if any of you in the central CA or SF Bay area are interested.
There is a small chance that I might be heading to So Cal within the next month or so, in case any of you southern CA folks are interested.
