California Coop retrofit with pics

Other than changing out and/or lining the existing wire parts with hardware cloth please advise re other ways you think I should modify this for: Brooder for 30-40 weeks 3-6 .........followed by grow out pen for roos..... followed by love nest for future roo and his ladies. It is about 6 feet deep by 7 and a half feet wide.

Where in CA are you? If northern CA, make sure the opening faces North. Other than critter issues and hardware cloth, it looks great.

erghhhh it faces west.

Should I 1/2 wall the front? There is a nice overhang of about 9 inches and I could install plywood partially up that west side
