Rehoming our Rooster - Alameda, CA

We are looking for the right forever home for our 10 months old beloved rooster, Francis. We started raising our first flock this year, and he has been part of our family since he hatched on St. Patricks Day. We’ve watched him grow into a true gentleman. Francis is devoted to our 3 young hens, always putting them first, and has a calm, friendly demeanor that makes him a joy to be around. We do NOT want to part with him, but sadly two of our neighbors are heartless snobs, and have complained to the city about his crowing (which wasn't excessive). Everyone else loved hearing him, and loved having a rooster in the neighborhood.

We want our Francis to go to a home where he will be safe, very well cared for, and loved as much as we love him. A proper coop with room to roam, and a few hens to look after are a must.
