California pepper trees

Hello! I see these pepper tree questions are a popular topic. I am expecting my flock in June. My property is lined with these trees and are prolific. I other words, there is no way to keep the girls away from them.

Would the BYC family and owners of these trees please let know how their flock is doing around these trees?

My boy and I are newbies to BYC and raising layers. We could use all the help we can get.
