Unless there is another fast breeding insect, my suggestion is to raise mealworms.how to make insect for quail eating? any suggestions?
Don't know if it was a girl or a boy just to add to the fun, but hey this little pain will either make it on it's own or not.I raise a lot of Valley's. I've had a few get out now and again and I've come to the conclusion that its VERY hard to capture them. I usually just consider it a lost. However, they to tend to stick around for a while. Just like what Ntsees said in her post, the best time to catch them is to stalk and see where it roosts for the night and try to catch it after it gets dark. I usually go out at 2am to catch my adults for my clients. I found out that its better to catch them early in the AM.

If you search on google you can find a lot of places that will ship live meal worms. I've seen a few posts on here about growing your own once you have some to start with but it seems like it takes quite a while to get a colony going. http://www.rainbowmealworms.net/shop-mealworms/how can i get Caterpillar and other insects at home or buy them etc etc etc for my quails any suggestions earliest res thanks in advance
