There might still be a chance you can find him or he may come back. I do hope so!

I was going to tell you that those last two links didn't work, but it slipped my mind. Anyway, I like the one with the run underneath, but I am partial to the birds having a very tall run so they can flop and fly when they please. But if you free range often then the one with the run underneath is super!

She went out and checked again, but no sign and usually if one gets out it's still in the yard. I have her making bats and cats right now. I handed her some paper and crayons to keep her busy. She made a Christmas tree and taped it to the front door. I told her this isn't WalMart, so the tree can't go up until after Thanksgiving.

Easy is going to have to be the main thing. Most of them free range in the yard all day. Means I can't let anyone else out, but with the new coops I'm trying to get together I can separate and let a few out at a time. Everyone is moulting so I've gotten an egg here and there for a couple of weeks, but nothing the past two days.

I have some birds penned too close to my house. I don't want to see them anymore until I want to. Today I went out and all the youngsters were out at once. I stepped on toes and almost got Lowrider. She doesn't like being picked up, but boy does she get under foot. She's so dinky, I'd kill her if I stepped on her.

The rabbits are on my covered back porch. I want then out! They're tiny Lionheads, so I have to worry about too hot and too cold, but I think if they have something to keep the wind off of them they'll be alright this winter.

I'm trying to get everyone set to the left, behind the garage and down the length of the yard. There's plenty of room for all of them to have coops by breed and a smallish run with part under the coops. That way, one breed at a time in the yard and everyone will get thier own day. Not sure about my Sumatras though since the fence on the right of the yard is only 4ft cyclone. They like to be high up.

I also have three birds coming from Chooklet and another Davis FBCM roo and hopefully a white Rock from a breeder I hear has huge birds.

I need more cover here. lots of it.

Man, I'm tired just reading this! You've made me have to face how much I have to do. I've only got 30 chicks inside right now that need a home asap and I think I found a shed through a friend that will work for that. I've got more eggs coming in November though so I need to tweak the bator to get it just like I want it before then. Need winter to hold off for a bit cause the old coop isn't back up yet and I have a lot of folks holding birds for me to restock my layers with. Then the shed needs to go back up. I'm tired of having a thousand things still in my living room from the move that don't belong there! Whew that's enough to think about for now or I'll go hide my head in the sand and never get anything done.

Sunny what breed are the chicks you have to sell?

OK I just updated the first post. I forgot to delete some things. Now I need to add more.

Anyone have something I should add?

I'm also toying with a breeders list. Would that be something you would all want on this thread?

No chicks to sell right now. I have this many (with more to come) to start my new breeding program with. I need them all! Honest!!!

After I figure out which ones are culls maybe I'll have some to sell but they won't be for any breeding program. Well maybe they would... I'm breeding for egg color only and will cull anyone that doesn't lay an 8 or better on the marans' scale. If a pullet is gorgeous and great show quality but only lays a 6, IDK somebody might want her for an SQ breeding program. Anyway none now. The culls will be sold off in spring as layers etc.

You're keeping me in mind for a few EEs right? I will need them in a couple months for my laying flock.

Yep

Just thought if you had some you needed to sell I could go ahead and start that breeders list. What do you think? Too mucho??

Ha ha! Waaay too soon for me. It will be a while before I'm where I want to be with this project but there must be others on here that are ready. Yes?

So a good or bad idea? IDK

I have the prettiest blue Olive Egger. He's out of my Bon Jovi, who I miss soooo much and one of my FBCMs. Looks AM with feathered shanks. He's huge too.
