Californian Quail bad hatch

Last year i did not raise 1 Cali they all died after hatching ???

i hatched japs an chickens,pheasants but the quail just kept on dying
I raised 15 the year before no problem
the birds are 2 years old

I tried on Paper then shaving but nothing worked ,
i also put them in brooder with the other newly hatch and on there own but the same result..
so before the season starts this year i wondered if anybody could shed any light????

the quail were in pairs outside flight the same as the previous year ?????????????

We need more information about their dying. Any signs, symptoms, age at death, etc...Also, after a batch of eggs in your incubator and brooders, you need to thoroughly clean everything properly. Everything needs to be sterilized before the next batch, or you are asking for issues.

Tell us more about your situation and maybe we can narrow it down as to what happened.

between 3 an 5 days to die, look normal healthy chicks
same food as other quail same make as last year
no runny discharge all looking good then dead next day
i clean the incs often but as i said previous year no problems
