Hi I joined this site looking for some advice on Quails actually! I grew up with chickens, mostly Rhode Island Reds and whites, but we also had at one point a leghorn. Currently we only have three ducks one of which is a full Khaki Campbell and the other two are Khaki Campbell crosses we rescued. I live in Southern California with my family, our two dogs and our two indoor cats. I found this site looking up quail species and California laws in regards to what I could and couldn't keep. I have some experience when it comes to farm animals ( i.e. chickens, cows, and horses) and I volunteer at my local rescues, raising puppies and kittens as young as 2 weeks old.

Haha! I've noticed! My dad actually came here when one of our ducks developed angel wing syndrome. She's doing well now and is our best egg layer!
