Call drake and Pekin female

Hi everyone, hope your day/night has been going well.

So I have had a call drake duck for almost 2 years now, and he is an absolute sweetheart. Recently, we received a female Pekin of unsure exact age. I was just wondering how long we need to keep them separate until they familiarise with each other and whether or not they are compatible in a general sense of getting along and breeding.

When I've brought in a new duck I generally just add it and see how it goes. You can also separate by a fence for a week or so, and than see.
