I'm about to start my first incubator hatch of the season.
9 beautiful little call eggs arrived at my house today from Faith Valley Waterfowl. At least 3 of them are pied and the rest are a mystery!
I've had the bator running for the past couple days in preparation. The eggs go in tomorrow at 4:00 pm so they've had 24 hours to settle.
I'm sooo excited! Hopefully my lucky bator will give me another good hatch! =]
Now it's been a little while since I did this...I have the bator set to 37.5 degrees C (about anyway). That's a good temperature for call ducks right?
