Hello all!

I have 5 nearly four month old call ducks that have been living with the chickens in a combined predator proof run with a 110 gallon in ground stock tank "pond" for the past month. The 12 chickens have access to a 8x10 coop via a ladder that the ducks don't have any interest in. The coop is elevated on a slope, so the entire underside of the coop is accessible. I think right now the ducks just kind of hang out at night, going under the coop if the weather is stormy. Come winter though, I need to get them prepared to take some kind of more substantial shelter. I was going to build something to match the coop, but I am not motivated at all, do you think this would work for 5 calls?

From what I read your winter temperatures are pretty mild; like ours. Yes, I think the dog house would be a sufficient night time spot for five calls. I also have 5 call ducks.
