Call Duck - Is this a Drake?

Trying to figure out which ones are drakes. Someone told me if they have a green tinge they were Drakes. Is this true? Do females have that too?

Depends on what breed. What does it’s voice sound like?

It is a Call Duck. It is hard to say at this early age. They are all pretty much sounding the same. I've tried to listen but can't distinguish between their sounds.

Looks like a black bibbed call, You can't tell the gender of it just because of it's green sheen, How old is it? Normally the best time to tell what sex they are is at around 6 weeks of age when you can hear the 'Quacking' Only a hen makes.

They are just 4 weeks. Thanks. Maybe I will just have to be patient. : )

No problem~ I'd give it 2 more weeks, Sometimes it takes even longer.. My rouens are about 5 weeks old now and they've just started to find their voices, I've also got some mixes that are the same age but haven't quite found their voices yet..

Yes it is hard to tell yet. We are hoping this one is a female. Do both the females and males bibbed ones have the black bill. It also has pretty little black feet. : )

Yes, both sexes can have dark bills and feet...
