Hello. I have a pair of call ducks. The girl has started laying in the duck house we have! However, she has laid some (6) in a nest in the nest box, and some (4) randomly in another part of the house.
Would I be okay moving the 'abandoned' into the nest area or should I leave them? I don't want to disturb them and cause her to not sit on them.
Thank you 😊

Congratulations! It really depends on how old they are. Two weeks is considered to be the max but it depends on who you ask. If they're fresh-ish then I'd do it. :D Enjoy your Call ducklings!

I think the oldest egg might be older than 2 weeks but they newest is only a couple of days old.
I hope they hatch. They are siblings, so I didn't want them to breed but my partner said it was okay 🤷🏼‍♀️

Well I hope they hatch anyway. Birds rarely care what science says lol
