Learning from threads is fine and you can ask questions if you want but knowing something is SQ and thinking something looks cute or fun to have is two different things.

I totally understand. I also should remember that I have limited knowledge. For instance, I knew the black on that hen’s bill wasn’t good, but I didn’t know if it was ok for breeding and whatnot.
I’ll try to remember to keep my talking to a minimum and listen to see what the experts have to say first.

Did you ever find any calls ? If not, contact Cindy Rusk on FB. She's in MO and likes to help jr's. You may have to wait until fall, but her birds are worth the wait. Her rejects are better than most people's best birds. Get on a waiting list and keep in contact with her. She can also answer most any question about calls you might have.
