That sucks. I've never seen a beaver besides on a screen. Closest I've really seen besides a few frames is that big beaver Pokémon

The female kit almost came out out of the water to come say hello. She and her brother are yearlings. I'm hoping mom was in the lodge with this year's babies. And that the beaver in the road was a cousin and not dad.
