call duck questions

i was wondering about a couple of things.

1. do call ducks come in crested types?
2. where to get them?
3. do veggie gardens and these ducks mix well?

and anything else i should know about them. thanks a bunch!!

You can usually find call ducks for sale on eggbid. I don't know where you are located, but there are probably some poultry shows where you might be able to make contact with a breeder with birds to sell. Any poultry auctions in your neck of the woods? You might find some there.

Have you ever had ducks before? They are different than chickens! I'd had chickens for close to 30 years before I got my first call ducks....they were an eye-opening experiance!! As cute as they are, they are about the messiest critter you'll probably ever have.

I don't let mine free-range, so I'm not sure how much, if any damage they'd do in a garden.

I found this on eggbid, it is an auction for a crested call duck pair, the post says hen is crested while drake s from crested parents.
