Oh yeah I have 3 females they are much louder than males it’s crazy but yeah she barley does it though it’s like rare to hear is it because she’s still developing it?Females get their quake before males do and they are much louder than drakes
It was so weird cause I went up to their brooder and she did that and it was so weird and I haven’t heard it since thenIt kind of sneaks in and even surprises them i think! Then it gets more noticeable and then more regular until all those cute baby chirps and cheaps are gone forever.
Aww I absolutely love their chirps and then they get older and it seems more quieter except for the girls there so loudIt's adorable, isn't it? My girls chirps are no more. Completely replaced with loud honking quacks but my drake who is a third bigger...which by the way, is extra noticeable because they are erect standing indian runners.....my drake, still chirps like a little baby. It's so funny.
What ducks have you raised?
Hi there! Pictures would be helpful.
I raise Call Ducks and Muscovy ducks. Some size variation is normal, and the bill size can vary a lot in Call Ducks, so much so that there have been times I've doubted the duckling with a larger bill was a Call Duck.
Metzer has spots to you could have got one of them by accident.Hello everyone so I have these two call ducks there both 4 weeks old and got them from Metzer both very healthy but I noticed that one of the call ducks is by far larger than the other call even his bill is longer so does anyone have a clue what’s going on?
I’m not sure what you mean sorryMetzer has spots to you could have got one of them by accident.
Calls and australian spotted ducks are very similar in color and size when they are ducklings Metzer has bothI’m not sure what you mean sorry
