So far I would just monitor and watch’s since he’s not acting sick.

Using an antibiotic for something that doesn't actually need it is really not a good idea...

If this is truly being caused by a “bacterial or yeast” then how can I treat him for that?

You would need to ask to your drug store, because I have no idea what you have to treat it in America.
I think there is a special shampoo for it...? For waterfowl too.
