Call duckling

Hi I have a call duckling that broke through its egg two days ago(safety hole was extended to dime size) then stuck its head out yesterday and then I found it completely detached from the egg today. However it still has its yolk sac attached. What can I do to help it. It’s still making noise and trying to get around. I’m just at a loss as to what I can do it help it

I have it wrapped in a gauze pad with some Vaseline and then wrap in a warm washcloth so it can’t drag it around.

Do you think I should put a band on it then? It’s chirping and trying to move around and still doing a chewing motion. Should I wait or go ahead and band it?

I've only done it once, so maybe wait to see what other people say.
