Call Ducklings Nostrils

Just hatched 7 call ducks. They are 1 week old. Their nostrils don't seem to be real developed. I'm not sure if they are blocked or just not too big. Can anyone explain or shed some light on this? Thank you! I will try to post a picture.

No worries, those are Call nares...

The inner part around their nares is very flexible, it kind of expands if they need to open the a bit more, if that makes sense...

But also, size-wise, they just won't be as big as standard sized duck nares...

If Your providing water deep enough to keep nares

clear they should be okay..
