I’ve hatched call ducks before. But I’ve got a very interesting problem right now. I order my call duck hatching eggs off eBay. And today is day 28. I usually check around day 26 and I saw nothing. One had died so I opened it up and its whole top beak hadn’t formed. The second dead one I found a day later, and its whole side eye hadn’t formed. It was just an empty pocket. And the one I managed to keep alive I keep looking in the pip hole and I can see clearly it’s top beak only formed halfway.
Now this year I’ve had a VERY bad hatch rate and I’m not sure what going on. Even chicks dying while zipping. But I’m going to solve my problems one at a time. Does anyone know what’s going on?
