Go to the forum where you want to post a question; for example, "Predators and Pests." Click on it. Choose "post new thread." (Upper right corner--green button) Post your question. Wait for answers.

Up at the top of the page is a tab called Forums. Click on that then scroll through the list of Forum titles until you find the one you are looking for. Click on that forum title and then you are in the forum. Up at the top is a place to enter your title to start a thread in that forum.
