I don't move much so I don't need to pack, though I had to rehome most of my stuffed animals over the years. I often wonder what they are up to? Are they happy without me? I'm sad without them. .

We bought our first place and lived there 17 years. Then moved here. I can't part with certain things that were my best friends growing up. I was a bit of a loner and animals were my best friends. I trained young Magpies to come to me and eat out of my hand till my stepdad stopped me..They would come and peck on the window so I would feed them then..lol..I always loved Birds, Dogs and Horses.

I was a weirdo that hung out with animals and I have no human social skills. Animals I get and understand, humans Most don't understand me or why I keep so many critters, I don't understand not keeping them. I definitely can't imagine a day without a dog, they are my spirit animal.

I can say you met someone who totally understands you. I'm the same. My Horse Kupid and I are so connected it's scary. My old Pug Kizzy still brings me to tears thinking about my dear Old Girl. I love all my pets and cry every time it's time to let them go too. All I know is they lived a great life and were loved and never forgotten...
They live on in my heart. My Best friends. People let you down. Animals never do..

I've got 8 call eggs under a broody, Putting 8 more under another broody, and incubating some Turkey eggs~


I think I noticed it fast enough to save it, She did pass the egg but another one of my hens ended up getting egg-bound and I didn't notice until it was too late unfortunately

Aw, I used to have a bird that hated me too Her name was Oreo, Not sure what she was though? All I remember about her is she'd always try and bite me and that she was all black..

Things are good, I've started selling eggs and I spent the day catching up with one of my sisters who's been away for a while now. Thanks for asking


It could be that she's just adjusting? How long have you had your chickens for?

It's day 22 now! I believe 23 will make it into LD. I tossed another one tonight.
