Call Ducks or Bantams...Crazy Animals Around the Farm

Pictures..You've been holding out on us..Not fair..

They're going through their teenage faze where they want nothing to do with me You should of seen me try to catch them, It was a nightmare I'll definitely try and get some pictures today when I go back out to collect eggs. It's a foggy day today with a some rain here and there.. It's suppose to get cold for a bit after tomorrow, Coldest is 0 c

but then after this week it's suppose to get warm again

My Husband was impressed at how I can just flip Casanova over on his back and apply the Vaseline to his doodle without him flapping or acting up..Casanova is a wonderful Drake..

I'm a bit worried about the Ducklings out in that building..-21C expected Thursday night. Plus having these two Hens hatching together has me worried too..
I hope I'm just worried and all will be fine. If Apple finishes soon I'll set her up in the garage Brooder?...I do have the heat lamp on too..

I finally figured out a solution..I'll move Apple to the other Shed with her Ducklings once hatched..I think?..
Stupid Alberta weather...

My Husband suggested I move Cadbury and Dandy back into the tote and put Apple in that one..That's what I'll do..
Now I'm stressed out with worry..Babies will be fine under Momma till they get moving around though..

These Call Ducks will be the death of me....
I can't believe how much I love these silly little Birds..First Casanova with his doodle issue now and Ducklings hatching..Stupid Alberta weather not cooperating at all......I only have so much room and pens to set up..
Feathered Puppies are an addiction and I'm in need of rehab right about now..
