We use fly strips and those stinky jars. I read about the air freshener thing but never tried it.

I don't know what a stinky jar is, but am afraid of them getting caught on a fly strip. That would be miserable to rip that off of a bird.

I use a fly trap with a fly attractant. It is reusable but it smells so bad that I just double bag it and dump it in the trash can

Yikes I hate wasps, Hornets, bees and horse flies.......
