No one will guess what your addition will be?
Ok ok.....
A horse!!!!! Once he finally said yes this morning he sent me a few of the ads he found, apparently he said yes a while ago just didn't tell me! So I looked at the two he found, found a few others. Not going extravagant for sure. Just doing some looking. Found a few I like the sound of and what I see in the pics and vids. So we are going to talk about those and decide where to start on going and meeting the horse, seeing temperament, looking over body, checking for any concerns that could cause problems like lameness..... You know the drill.... Once we find the perfect fit we'll bring it home.

I just don't know if I want one that is seasoned or one I will need to season myself. I'm good either way. I've broken several before. It's just been a while. The horse I worked with most was my neighbors when I was growing up. Bandit and her owner taught me everything I know. Except fancy stuff like dressage and side saddle. That was never my style....:gigAlthough Bandit would do occasional tricks for me!

Wow...I'm shocked..Horses are a commitment and cost lots of money in proper care. A Horse can't be alone and needs room..Training is constant..Hmmm? Sounds romantic but are you sure?..A Horse is a gift and a privilege to own..
Sorry I can't talk Horses ....
I'm with you on all points. That's why I say it's going to be a process in finding the right fit. There's a guy who bought one for his daughter just because she wanted one. Ran into him recently and asked how it was working out and they've already sold and traded a couple of times. That makes me sick. It is a commitment. Not just for the human but the horse as well. Needless to say I will be doing the choosing as I'm the one who will be working with it...... But when we go to meet the prospectives it's going to be all about connection. Which my soul clicks with.
Sorry, horses are my heart. So glad he finally decided we were at a point where we can care for one. I think I may talk him into the pony a friend of mine has. She's a 5 yr old paint and great around kids.

My Best friend..This took years of training and a bond that will never be broken. I don't take horses lightly. They are magnificent in the right hands.

I definitely want to get her. She is gorgeous and sweet. It may take time to find my rider.... Hubbs says I need something that is just for me. When I get stressed I can saddle up and go for a ride and forget my worries. He finally realized that for me it would be putting my extra time into a horse. Took him long enough. I think it took him seeing me around them to see it though. I've been begging him FOREVER. I think he was hesitant because he knows nothing about them. But when we went riding a while back he saw how at home I was handling and how I showed him how to tend to one after riding..... Whatever his reason was for saying yes I am glad for. :love
