Yes..It really is..
Except that you have to look for new prospects, getting new animals is fun and exciting.
I was just thinking today, that Java Joe could probably have a few more added to his harem. Well, he isn't ready yet, but he will be soon. And, if over breeding was an issue, I would just find him a few more ladies. ;)

I don't think many people research before they get animals.?.?
I research everything - so much so I can almost talk myself out of it. ;)
For the sake of the animal and any anxiety the animal(s) might bring, do your research people!

I only got into Ducks because I had surgery and sold for an old lady. I was sick and got attached and they imprinted to me..Not my intentions at all..

Were you incubating eggs at that time?
No an Old lady up north brought me her Ducklings to sell because she was so far off grid. I sold many for her. Then I got sick so just played with the ones because they were here and I got attached.. The rest is history. I love Ducks...

I'm a bit worried...I don't think any of my eggs are fertile.:barnie..Casanova isn't working I don't think?..:rant
I see signs of life in my friends eggs. I'm really disappointed..:th
My drake ain't doing his job either, plus he's harassing my chickens a lot. Dwight may be heading for the freezer soon. :barnie
