So would a dog kennel work for a no-touch pen? It is the enclosed type not open. I figure it might offer more protection from the rain. I would put it inside the run so he's safe from predators, plus fence him off so that he can be out of the kennel. If he doesn't look well when I go to pick him up, I will not bring him home.

Yep...That will be fine. He probably won't need to be penned for too long anyways. He will know how to woo the ladies..

Well, I am going to run a few errands before I go pick him up, but should be back home by 2pm or so. So, about 5 hours from now, I should have him back to the house.
