My chicks are shipped May 28.

Old dog had a faint positive for the tick disease anaplasmosis. She's on antibiotics. They gave her a shot of steroids yesterday and said keep her quiet as she has decreased platelets, and could experience things like nose bleeds.

She's a hard one to keep quiet. Vet says he's surprised at her age because she looks so good. She's 13 1/2. I think my crabby old dog will be around a long time yet. I was worried things were going much worse with her.

Aww...I hope she recovers Lisa..Bindi is healing from her injury and it's getting smaller with her cone on her head.
