Im doing fine My bernese mountain dog isnt doing so well he was limping pretty bad yesterday and couldnt really get up on his own so im taking him to the vet later this afternoon .

@MillersFarm can I post a picture of Truffles on @HuffleClaw new thread ?

Unfortunately here it's an epidemic. Shifting leg lameness, and generally limping and sore are the main symptoms. Fever, lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, and lack of appetite are some others.

If caught early, and treated with antibiotics prognosis is good. Left too long and dogs can get kidney failure, heart problems and arthritis to name a few. I believe the incidents are increasing out in the north east.
