No, I've had ducks for three years. I got my breeder drakes from @Ravynscroft and 25 SR from McMurray. I put the drakes from the hatchery in the freezer. At my high point, I had a little over forty but then came the fox. Once I solve my feed problem, I'm thinking about starting a flock of Aylesbury if I can find breeding stock.

Eta: Nice to meet you too.
What problem are you having with feed?
We had a Fox problem before that lasted 3 years..:barnie
Finally the guy next door destroyed the Fox den and the Fox left but then the Coyote began coming here and almost killed my little Yorkie Lucy...:th
Bindi and Finn now chase them off..:thumbsup

I can't get a decent Non-GMO starter for ducks, turkeys or quail. There's an amish place 2 hours north of me that is supposed to have an acceptable feed but the only way to find out is to take the drive and I haven't had the time or gas to do it. There's a guy 3 hours south of me that has good feed, but is BYOC bring your own container. I can get really high end feed shipped in from VA but I'd have to buy 50 bags and pay $200 shipping. And then there's hope. Tucker is coming out with a new non-gmo gamebird starter soon. So I'm hopeful, as my feed supplier is strictly tucker. Although, he's not opposed to ordering feed from VA and marking it up so he makes money off the sale. So we're in a wait and see mode.
