How old are the chicks now?
I would wean chicks at 6 weeks if the hen doesn’t do it herself. If she is pecking at them put her back into the Bantam flock.

They are just a few days shy of 6 weeks old. I’ll probably put her back in the Bantam flock some time today then.

I found another nest full of eggs in the Dog house so put in my incubator..On the off chance they are fertile I'll give them a chance. I don't think they are being Casanova has been gone awhile and Caspian is too young..
