I separated the young male quails and put my adult male (named 1% Joe) back in with the girls.

No I hatched all chicks in an incubator. I will remove him again.

She must of took on the role as Momma or/ protecting them. He isn't wanted now..

Well she was broody but I took her eggs because quails don’t make good moms. I guess she decided that the others can be her kids then

Let the kids get a little older and then try again. She'll accept him after showing him who's boss.
