I want to Candle my chicken egg but know it's too soon to see anything yet......
I'll Candle tomorrow I think...

One thing I noticed is my Ducks are way better and happier without Casanova here. Caspian is very well behaved although young so that helps. He does head bob and flirty with the hens but has not tried anything yet.

Casanova never head bobbed but forced himself on all the hens if he felt the desire to do so..

I found 6 chickens in the nesting boxes today. View attachment 1837594

Looks way too much like one of my nest boxes... But I only have two in there. But one will push the door part way open with her but and stick her tail feathers out.

3 eggs, 3 different colors in one day. Looks like I have another quail laying.

Thanks they definitely are an interesting pair and so funny to watch how they interact with each other being they are different species..
