Good lord you would think I'm the one giving birth to these puppies..:barnie
She lost her mucus plug but that's good because that can happen 4 to 5 days before birthing. So everything seems to be on schedule..:thumbsup
She didn't eat dog food but I had chicken left over from yesterday's supper..:p..She ate it like a wolf too..:gig

I don't spank her..I don't have too, my tone of my voice she definitely knows I'm mad at her. She peaks around the door frame as I clean up her mess and then runs like the Devil is on her tail to the living room and looks all sad..:gig
:old...:barnie...:lau

Hopefully your puppy doesn't become a toilet paper, Kleenex, paper towel shredding monster like Darla is. Darla every single morning tears up papers all over in my bed..:barnie..She is a very bad girl and definitely knows its bad too but can't help herself...:barnie
Every puppy here turns into a chewing nut at about 7-9 months of age. They seem to pick something they like and destroy it as often as possible. Tilly would eat any papers or magazines left out. I preferred that to Sunny eating the deck, or Rosie eating the fake wood fireplace.

Shorty started to have blood at the end of her runny poop today. I took a sample in. They say it's common for them to get diarrhea, and not to get too worried as she's otherwise spunky, active, and eating. They said bland diet, which I have been doing with rice and chicken, but they also said toast, so me and the dogs had toast for breakfast.

I'm already attached to her, so of course I get too worried. She's a whole 7.2 pounds at 10 weeks. She's a snuggle monster too. I will be better when she's better. I'm already exhausted after a whole 3 days, but it's worth it.

I'm excited for you and Lucy. I'm sure you are a bundle of nerves too waiting for that big moment. :hugs

Awww..Blood in the poop actually is a good sign after a bout of the poops in Puppies or dogs. Yes toast with sour cream actually is fantastic for puppies with the poops. As is the rice and hamburger or chicken. I love how much you worry Lisa because I worry too..I definitely can't wait for Lucy to be done because she is my very sweet girl..:hugs
Darla even ate a hole in the drywall behind the chair..:thShe is definitely a little bugger:gig
