@oldhenlikesdogs
How's Shorty today..Is her belly feeling better..:fl
Her sample came back positive for giardia, so I got her meds and I gotta try to pick up all those runny piles to prevent spreading it to my other dogs. So I guess I will be a bit more busy for the next week or two. :rolleyes: Hopefully she gets better quickly.

I would get rid of those standards. I have had no luck mixing the bantam hens with standards. The roosters do fine but the girls do not. That's been my experiences.
You have me confused Lisa because you said the Roosters are no good either with the little Bantam hens..Definitely the little bantams are getting aggressive with the standards and the standards are huge

I meant I use bantam roosters with standard hens. Never the other way around, the bantam hens get squished, and hurt from big roosters breeding them. Sorry if I was confusing.

Oh I understand...Well should I keep the Pullets even though Jenny chases them around?

She's probably chasing them because they are starting to mature. You could just wait and watch or just be rid of them. Some pullets get cranky like teenagers when they start to mature, and other hens can feel the need to remind them of their place.

When I kept silkies I did have a couple of standards with them initially and they didn't bother them, but it always made me nervous so I moved them out eventually. I'm too cautious as I don't like problems either, so I do what I can to avoid drama.
