I keep falling further into the crap pile here. Yesterday my old dog got very sick throwing up and having seizures. The vet thinks it may be a reaction to the treatment for the giardia. She's very weak but at least she was able to go outside this morning. I really thought she would die over night. She got fluids under the skin yesterday and I have a gel to put on her gums for energy every few hours.

Than this morning I found my kitty with her leg in the leg trap we set to catch the Fox. I didn't expect her to go way over there. Luckily the boxer dog was barking at her or else I would not have known.

I couldn't get the trap off nor pull the chain out of the ground. I finally cut the chain and took kitty and trap to the vet. They got the trap off. They will keep her over the weekend and do laser treatments to see if the leg comes back. If not she will lose her leg on Monday.

I'm beyond exhausted. :(

It's so hot and humid here. It's supposed to finally break by tomorrow.
