Jenny is full on Broody and I'm tempted to see if she will mother these 8 babies in the garage? I know I'm being ridiculous though because the Chicks are almost a week old....

I let the girls hatch out some eggs and they took the chicks into general population too soon. Ended up with dead chicks.

My friend wants two but I have to raise them first because she only wants Pullets...
I'm only doing this for her daughter though because she gets very attached to all her pets..

Really? That's strange. I put my Chicks and momma in my Coop with the rest at around 3 to 5 days in summer months and no one messes with my Chicks..

Were those her Chicks she hatched out? How old were they when Momma took them out in the flock?
