If Lisa wasn't so vicious and flighty I'd try putting both Hens in with the Chicks. I know Jenny will not hurt them but I'm not sure if the Chicks will understand to follow her as Momma?

I won’t be. All I need to do is set a price... I already told them that they can have them for free as long as they come get them soon, but they still want a price for them.

Yes..I'd ask $15 to 20 for the Hens. You raised them and fed them plus they are laying eggs.

I'm blocking off my Nest boxes today and will try putting Jenny with the Chicks this morning. Lisa is way to vicious to put into my Broody breaker..

I removed my ad for the SS. I'll try advertising again in the Fall. Generally that's when people become serious again about buying Pullets....
Who knows maybe things will be okay by then and the mammoths can stay?
