Now that the Humans are settled, here’s some snaps of a couple of my newish chickens.
Svart Hona hens


This pretty girl came in my first batch of Svart Hona, the only one with the good sense to be a hen. I think she’s a Svart x bantam faverolle

My Svart Hona rooster, I haven’t named him, but he’s a good boy-doesn’t crow too much. He’s also not much of a ladies man, but I think they’ll like him more when they’re done molting.

I'm moving my little Ducks into the pen today. Not completely finished the kennel yard yet but it's too cold getting so I must accommodate my Ducks. I'll get straw up in the house part and heat ready for the cold nights. It should be done completely by the weekend..

I would call him blackSmith . smith for short ,it up to you though.

Oh..
I know now why it can't be finished today. My husband has to go to a chainlink fencing place and buy a prebuilt pop door frame to attach to the fence once he cuts it..
....Oops I never thought about that..

Definitely need a second person to help..
