The legs look a smidge thick, but that could be the angle. If by 8 weeks there is no wattle or comb development or comb redness then it will be safe to say that Chicken Little is a pullet!
Yep...Just angle, it has small feet but then no one else to compare it too..Not huge Cockerels feet though..Yes..It's going to be either one and I'm just hoping Pullet or I have a sad day coming to me..:th

Generally young cockerels develope thicker legs than pullets. My money is on a pullet. I know that when it came to Marcy it took him much longer to lose all his baby fluff and fully feather out. It took him a good 3 months before he was fully feathered. His hatch mates had fully lost almost all their baby fluff in their first 4 weeks and started to feather in nicely.

Thanks, usually this cross is quick to show the sex so I think Pullet too..All Cockerels are little buggers by 6 weeks and sporting redness...

I’ve learned a lot on here when it comes to differentiating between a pullet and a cockerel. In general you can’t telk the difference between the sexes until at least 6-8 weeks in most breeds. Some like the Silkie and I assume hen feathered breeds you have to wait for a crow or an egg.

Two Cockerel pictures and Betty White..And RIP Bunny..
