Oh wow, I missed a lot. How long have they been broody for? Are they separated from everyone else?
They have been acting Broody since I took these 4 eggs..Due the 8th...I have these marked though..
So possibly due around April 16th or ?
Two separate nests..I'll pull Fabio once it gets closer to hatch..Then separate Mommas too. One will go to my garage Brooder and one will stay in the Duck house..Both heated..

@Brahma Chicken5000 must be working on his Coop and Run today?...If not?. He is Pretty quiet...:frow
Service issue. My dad took my phone to the phone store while I was doing yard work.
:frow Just spent my entire morning and half of the afternoon outside with my animals, Decided to take some shots (No not those shots) and did some thinking of what I'm going to work on next. But for now now i'll share some pics

Beautiful pictures :love
I love Barnyard Chickens...They create some really great Birds...

I love my Chickens I make and they are so cool looking too..
Home made Easter Eggers are always way more colorful than the ones from hatcheries or feed stores which all mostly look the same. I plan to hatch a lot of eggs from my mixed layer flock. I’ll eat the cockerels and sell some of the pullets.

I let Wendy and Albastru out while I was ripping out some old bushes and planting new ones and Albastru ran and then flew, yes she really flew, like 8 feet in the air and then landed and flapped her wings. She did it twice. Wendy laid today in the nest box and I’m getting some of the lumber for the run this evening. My dad wants me to make the run 12’x6’ instead of 12’x8’ so that it’s not so close to the jerk neighbors property. I agreed to avoid arguing, but this makes the run 72 sq feet instead of 96 sq feet which would give each chicken over 12 sq feet each. We have to buy 8 foot 2”x4”s regardless of which length I choose to make the run. And I ordered the hardware clothe in the 4 foot height  I’ll probably just make the run 12’x8’. I never had any problem keeping 8 chickens in this sized run except for a pecking incident which was my fault for giving them too much scratch grains and the Leghorn pullets got a bit hyper.
