How old do you guys think Charlotte is? I thought she was a pullet because she started squatting and her face reddened a few weeks after I rescued her. But I’ve since learned that game breeds are seasonal layers. I'd say over 3 years going off from feather/skin quality. *But that's just a guess

What exactly tipped you off to her age?
I want to know so I can better estimate chickens age too

Big thing is the legs, The more rough/scabby they look the older they are.. Same with face. Their combs will droop more than a pullet's. I also will notice that compared to pullets, older hen's feathers look a tad bit duller(Not dramatically) But those are just my opinions~
