Yikes. Your still planning a different set up this spring though right?
Yeah, but the problem is Henny keeps trying to get to him. How do you keep a chicken out that is dead set on his attention? The chickens can free range now, but the ducks can only go in the run and their part of the coop. I will take pics so you can see their set up.

It's not glamorous, but it was the best I could do at the time. So far henny hasn't got into their side today and she seems to be doing better.
She's the one with the purple neck and head.
 
My friend has Chickens and Ducks together and her Drake began tossing the Chickens around like rag dolls.
She had to make enclosed pens like mine.

My ducks live with my chickens. When they were young, the chickens taught my ducks to keep away and mind their own business. My drake and my rooster have little scuffles and my rooster usually backs off. Thankfully it’s a generally harmonious existence.

Yes, I am happy to have my daughter back home- she’s usually over every day anyway and she’s my right arm, helps me with all the heavy work especially since I’ve been sick.
