My ducks live with my chickens. When they were young, the chickens taught my ducks to keep away and mind their own business. My drake and my rooster have little scuffles and my rooster usually backs off. Thankfully it’s a generally harmonious existence.

Yes, I am happy to have my daughter back home- she’s usually over every day anyway and she’s my right arm, helps me with all the heavy work especially since I’ve been sick.
That's awesome then. Nothing worse than feeling like you have no choice ...:hugs...I'm glad your happy...:wee

Unless the Drake decides he like Chickens...:gig...:barnie
Oh he does, but the other girls don't give him the opportunity to try. And when they free range the ducks trail being the flock, but keep to themselves for the most part. He mates with daisy, but he is generally a gentle lover. He hasn't ripped out her feathers or overmated her. In fact she asks for it way more than he seems to want it.

Rubber boots, flip flops, winter boots or barefoot...:lau

So I weighed Daffy and Daisy. Daffy weighs 5 lbs 4 oz and Daisy weighs 5 lbs 10 oz. Is it normal for the girls to weigh more?
