I went out to have a look around. My husband said the cat as out in my big shed making trouble. She certainly is. She's terrorizing chickens. She's try to catch my hens in the broody pen while they jump around in terror. I moved her to the other part of the shed. Hopefully she makes her way back to her own area. I'm gonna have lots of troubles with her. She's too bold.So is Alley she is crazy...

No she's just a young goofy cat. She has mock chased chickens before. I don't think she would actually do anything to them, but she enjoys riling them up. She brought into her shed a half grown pigeon the other day. I don't know if she found it or actually killed it. She's definitely the most active cat I have ever had.

My cat kills Magpies and squirrels all the time...
Cat thinks it's funny. 
I'm worried she may see chicks as dinner so she will be locked out during the brooding.

I just read in one of my chicken magazines that geese can be raised with chicks. I think I'm gonna go that route. It will make things easier.
